C-ICADI had come a long way in Covenant University with four (4) series of African Development Conference successfully done. Consequently, the last, which was the fourth (4th) C-ICADI, was designed to cover a wide range of topics germane to issues of Leadership in driving Africa's future vis-à-vis the humanities, social sciences and engineering, even as the foundation for the imminent African renaissance is laid.

This year C-ICADI is specially designed to focus on “Right Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Sustainable Development Solutions for the Africa we want”. In the light of this, and as the practice at ICADI conferences, the fifth (5th) C-ICADI will feature special Keynote and Lead Paper presentations by acclaimed leaders, renowned Academics and Industry experts. In addition, there shall be dedicated fora and breakout sessions that will provide an opportunity for all participants to contribute to specific topics on sustainable and diverse issues of African Development, emanating from the Conference theme and other core areas flagged.

All accepted and presented papers at the conference will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for indexing in open-access academic databases such as Springer proceedings, Web of Science and Google Scholar. In addition, authors of accepted papers would be invited to submit extended versions of their papers to some selected high-impact journals, and Covenant University Journals.
